Curriculum
Our curriculum is based on themed days created at the beginning of the year, for example currently our daily themes are math Mondays, tasty Tuesdays, STEM Wednesdays, crafty Thursdays and fun Friday. Activities are planned by the site coordinator keeping these themes in mind while also including holidays, seasons, and special current events. Outcome possibilities from what we offer are improved behavior, increased confidence in regards to academics, refine study habit, increase ability to work in groups and address the opportunity gap.
Daily Schedule
Our afternoons begin with a community meeting, followed by snack time and then homework or reading time. Next our students break off into the younger group and older group to rotate between outside time, engagement activity time, and game room time until their departures.
